Please Read Before You Book An Appointment

Waxing Clients

  • Exfoliate the area to be waxed no less than 2-3 hours before your service. Exfoliating will help give you the best results and will also help prevent ingrown hairs. 

  • Take Tylenol at least 30 mins prior and avoid ALL caffeine 2-3 hours prior. Hydrate with lots of water. Waxing over dehydrated skin can cause sensitivity

  • Do not apply any lotions, gels etc prior to service. 

  • Hair must be the length of a long grain of rice prior to your appointment. 

  • If you're on your menstrual cycle, you may still come for your appointment. Be sure to shower and wear a tampon.

  • 48 HOUR CANCELLATION WILL STILL APPLY.

Chemical Peel

  • Please arrive with a clean bare face.  If you have been in the sun heavily or have a sunburn 7 days prior to treatment or have been using retinol daily you will need to stop and wait 7 days for treatment. Do not apply any lotions, gels etc prior to service. 

  • I recommend using the aftercare kit created for this service. It will be available for retail purchase for $50 at time of service. This will help the healing process and give you better faster results. It includes everything you will need.

  • After treatment your skin will be sensitive, stay out of sun for 7 days, use sunscreen. You may experience dryness, flakiness, minor peeling 2-7 days after. Please moisturize during this time.

Skin Care

  • Arrive with a clean bare face. If you can not please let me know in advance. There will be a $15 charge for makeup removal if you do not communicate. 

Feminine Care

  • You must reschedule if you are on your cycle. 48hr cancellation policy may still apply. 

Waxing precautions and contraindications

  • Waxing can NOT be done on clients that are currently taking Accutane Adapalene, Differin,Isotretinoin, Tazarac or anything similar to Accutane. You must be off of these medications at least for 1 year prior to waxing.

  • The following medications should be discontinued at least 3 months prior to waxing; Alustra,  Avita,  Azelex, Clindamycin, Doxycycline, Erythromycin, Madifloxicine, Metronidazole, Prednisone, Renova (Retin A), Retin A, Tazarotene, Tetracycline, Tretinoin or anything similar. 

  • It is very important that you consult with your medical provider who prescribed you any type of medication prior to waxing. 

  • If you are sunburned, wait at least 7 days before your wax appointment. If you tan in a sun tan booth, wait at least 48 hours.

  • Facial Waxing: If you have received any type of chemical peels or an  exfoliation treatment in the area please wait at least 7 days before your wax appointment. 

After Your Wax

  • You should not do anything that will cause you to sweat excessively your pores are open and you do not want anything to get trapped inside and cause a bump. Please do not touch the area as well

  • Wait at least 48 hours before you workout, sit in a sauna or go to the beach/pool/jacuzzi/bathtub

  • Make sure to wear loose clothing for the remainder of the day to avoid sweating and irritation.

  • Refrain from intercourse for 48 hours 

  • Follow all your aftercare instructions

​I highly recommend purchasing Snatched Beautys All natural organic wax scrub to prevent bumps and ingrown hairs, this will be used 3-4 times weekly in shower for best results.
